Anastasia Patino-Guerra, resident of Rio Rancho passed away peacefully on Wednesday, the 23rd of August at Genesis Hospice Facility. She was 88 years old.
She was born on June 14, 1929 in Balamban, Cebu, Philippines. She immigrated to the US in 1988. She was married to a hardworking llocano, was an excellent homemaker and raised 3 daughters and 2 sons. She loved to cook, enjoyed music, dancing and stage drama. She had a wonderful sense of humor with an infectious laughter that permeated the farthest nook. She was the life in social gatherings among her friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugenio Guerra, Sr. She is survived by the following next of kin: only living sibling, brother Melecio Patino; 5 children: Perla King, Gloria Kauz, Lydia Diaz, Ireneo Guerra and Eugenio Guerra, Jr; grandchildren: Clovis Luigi Guerra, Adrienne Cecilia McCastle, Michael Raymond McCastle and Princeton Earl King, Jericho Liray Ojarda; only surviving son-in-law, Jose Philip Diaz, only granddaughter-in-law, Cher Dorothy Melegrito; only great grandchild, Miracle Angele McCastle; and all nephews and nieces in the Philippines and abroad.
Daniel’s Family Funeral Services, Southern Chapel, 2400 Southern Boulevard, Rio Rancho, NM, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
A Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday August 31, 2017 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Sara Road, Rio Rancho.
