Age 89, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017. She was born in Pritchett, CO on February 13, 1928, to Ward and Mamie (Raymond) Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Lowder and her parents.
Edna is survived by her children: Sharin Perry, Janis Lowder, Dennis Lowder, Pamela Harle and Dean Lowder; grandchildren: Glen, Denise, Elizabeth, Joe, Steven, Saundra, Rikki; great-grandchildren: Huck, Matthias, Chris, Shawn, Reina, Sarah and Lauren. Sisters, Edith and Edna’s twin sister and best friend, Elsie M. Hargis .
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Carlisle Chapel, 3113 Carlisle NE, Albuquerque.
Service will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, 10:00 am, at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro NE, Albuquerque.
Personal Notes:
I will never forget the influence that my grandma Lowder had on me. She passed-on her love of classic movies, and would often times suggest movies she thought I would enjoy.
She always played an important role in my dance career. She took me to ballet class, and would pick me up. She attended every performance she could.
She loved the arts and literature, as well as classic movies.
I am humbled to have had these things in common with her.
