Elisa Fajardo

On September 23, 2017, with her family by her side, our heavenly Father wrapped his loving arms around Liz lifting her to heaven. Elisa was born 4/4/36 to Lucinda and Onesimo Salazar in San Rafeal, New Mexico. Her family moved to Flagstaff in 1950 where she attended school.  She married Tio Tachias in 1953, with whom she had five children:  Christine (Willard) Gilbert; Gloria (Jerry) Dusek, Sally (Tom) McMillian, Tommy (Laura) Tachias and Karen (Pat) Marez.  She moved to Albuquerque New Mexico in 1981 and married Johnny Fajardo in 1988, whom she was married to until the time of her death.

Elisa is survived by her husband Johnny, children – Karen, Tommy, Sally and Christine,  stepdaughters - Vickie (Will) Duran, Michelle Devlin (Carl Darnell) and Tina Fajardo, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters - Shirley (Ruben) Baca and Lindy Valencia,  and many other in-laws, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lucinda and Onesimo, her daughter, Gloria and her sisters, Isabel Padilla and Lena Benavidez.
