Gloria G. Mocera

Gloria Mocera, age 87, passed away May 26, 2017.
She was born in Brooklyn N.Y. on March 7, 1930 to Orazio and Grace Andolina.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph Mocera of 25 years.
Upon graduation, Gloria worked for 34 years as a payroll manager for Brantano and Dell Publishers. Afterward Gloria ventured into business owning and operating a successful restaurant for 3 years in Little Italy in New York City .
In 1978 Gloria retired to New Mexico where she built a home in Tierra Grande and resided there happily until 2006 at which time she moved to Vista Del Rio Mobile Home Senior Park in Belen with her husband, Joseph Mocera.
Gloria acquired a lifelong passion for Italian cuisine from her loving mother.
She found much joy in preparing wonderful meals for family and friends. No one ever left Gloria’s home hungry. She also enjoyed sitting with friends and playing games at her kitchen table.
Gloria will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her, especially by her dearest friends, Benny and Becky and their son Charles.
A memorial service will be held on June 26, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. John’s Cathedral 318 Silver Ave. SE Albuquerque, NM
