Age 42, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017. She was born in Socorro, NM on November 8, 1974, to Tomas and Mary Flores Chavez. A lifelong resident of Socorro, Marcy graduated from Socorro High School in 1993. She enjoyed reading, roller skating and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Marcy was a very loving and kind person. She was a devoted and loving wife and enjoyed traveling with her husband, David while he was in the Army. Her greatest achievement was being a mother to her children. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Marcy is survived by her parents; her devoted husband of 26 years, David Rico; loving children, Symphony Sara Rico, David Rico II and Bravlio Rico; brother, Leonard Chavez; sisters, Helen Chavez and Adella Chavez; and many other family members and friends. Cremation will be taking place. There are no services scheduled at this time.
