Theo Vance Adams
Age 82, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017. He was born in Memphis, TX on March 24, 1935, to Theodore and Leta Adams. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Virginia Blanch Thompson (Freckles) who preceded him in 4/14/2012. He enjoyed woodworking gardening and cooking. He also attended West Mesa Baptist of Rio Rancho, NM and contributed to St. Jude and The Wounded Warriors Project. He was also member of the FOP, NM State Police Brotherhood Assoc. and the NM Sheriff and Police Assoc. He was worked for the New Mexico State Police for 26 years. Theo is survived by his sister, Jeanine Wehby of Dallas, TX; his son, Mark Adams of Gueneville, CA; his son, Randall Kent Adams of Troy, Illinois; his daughter, Stacy Lynn Huelsman of Pueblo, Colorado; his daughter, Lisa Lynette Higgins of Dallas, TX also his 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A heartfelt thanks to the amazing loving neighbors and friends that continuously watched out for him and provided nonstop love and support. Service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017, 10:00 am, at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel. Reception to follow at to follow West Mesa Baptist Church from 12:00pm-2:00pm.
