William Scheck, 91, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017. He was born in St. Peter, KS on June 25, 1925 to Francis and Eva Scheck.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose, and son, Anthony William Scheck.
William is survived by his children: Nancy Lawrence of Rio Rancho, NM, David Scheck of Albuquerque, NM, Judith Arterburn of Arlington, TX, Marilyn Scheck of Arvada, CO, Catherine Pope and husband, Joseph, of Farmington, NM; grandchildren: James & Danielle Lawrence, George & Amanda Arterburn, Bill & Ginger Arterburn, Teri & Martin Lantz, Christopher, Michael and Stephen; great-grandchildren: Christina, Kayla, Tara, Jake, Dillon and Greg; great-great-grandchildren: Sora and Jasper; siblings, Carol McGinnis, Lillian & John Kennedy, Francis & Sharon Scheck, Jr., Walter & Nancy Scheck, and Sharon Rempe.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, July 17, 2017, at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Southern Chapel, 2400 Southern Blvd, Rio Rancho. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE. The Mass of Christian Burial and Resurrection will follow at 10:30 A.M. Interment with Military Honors at Santa Fe National Cemetery will take place at 3:00 P.M. also on July 18, 2017.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
