My experience with David was brief but rewarding. We met through the Cumulonimbus musical group and being a percussionist I got to drum with David. Enjoyed my time with him and the musical group. Very inspiring and rewarding. He will be dearly missed on this earthly trek, but will surely be an wonderful addition to the heavenly body that awaits him. Sympathy to all of his family & friends.
Peace, Love and Blessings,

Dave and Ron taught me to play the flute and percussion. No matter how much he was suffering, Dave always gave us that Dave smile that came from his ever-joyful soul. Thanks, Dave.

Dave had always had a strong belief that he was part Native American and so his name was "David Little Cloud". His inspiration in understanding and respecting all Native American Cultures was one of true honesty and open minded. I met Dave many years ago and we created a Native sound with Native Flutes and percussion that was very natural and often there were many one time songs. His creativity was tremendous and always welcoming new ideas. We had played for many people of all ages and often just a simple thought of anything would give us inspiration to create a song in which told a story. Dave was always friendly, helping, understanding, excited and alive in the world of all The Great Spirit's land and he was thankful of all things. He loved his family and his friends and made new friends easily. His respect and honor to many things of the past and onto the future was genuine.
I will miss playing and creating with David Little Cloud. I will miss our talks of all subjects. And I will miss the friendship with brotherhood as well. As he and I always agreed when one of us was sick or could not play...the magic of music must go on! And so I will, as one musician who was honored to play with such a man, I will continue on and any who wish may join me. All songs are stories about something and sometimes that story can be told only once but the idea is to share that story! I send my love and strength to Diana and all her family. Remember that as we are playing music here on Mother Earth, Dave has his audience as well! May The Great Spirit bless all Dave's family and Friends! Let the music live on! Ron Hoskie

Writing and playing music with Dave was a magical experience, He could touch my spirit playing one note on his flute, the music would start flowing out of me when this happened, and beautiful music would soar out of his flute. Being his friend and band-mate was a privilege,
Knowing Dave was great, he could always see the good in everything, and he inspired me to be better with his quiet, warm heart.

David, Even though we live miles apart, I never felt any distance between us. You took me by the hand to Maine and somehow turned me into a flute maker. You profoundly changed my life by doing so. You helped me to be a more compassionate man. But most of all we played music together, we spoke in a language of beauty and peace. I've come to realize the power of music to heal and to transform. The ripples you've created in this world will be felt for many generations. From my heart... Much Love and gratitude.

Chief Seattle 1786-1866 said this, "There is no death. Only a change of worlds."

My Dear Cousin David, your passing is a loss for all the world. You were such a unique thoughtful soul and even through all the pain and suffering you went through these past few years, you always kept a positive attitude and had hope for the future. You were taken from us too soon.
I wish I had known you when we were younger and we were both growing up in NJ, but for some reason we never really knew each other and maybe saw one another once or twice at some family function. It wasn't until you started coming to Denver for your possible transplant surgeries that I got to see you and meet your wonderful wife Diana.
I remember the day you both flew up here for the actual surgery and how excited you were after waiting for so long. The recovery went from days to months and I would see you and Diana every other day or so. When things looked bleak at one point you had us all so worried and for days we just wanted you to wake up and give us a smile. How can I forget all of us sitting in your room, Diana, your friend Ron, your folks Marcia and Ray, and your sisters Irene and Betsy, along with my sister Sheri. and Isabel, Diana's sister. Finally after months and months you were transferred to Craig Rehab hospital and that became the place for every other day visits. I recall one day, you showing me your new wheelchair and all the things you could do in it. We laughed and I told you not to be speeding though the halls.
I will never forget one day when I visited and Diana was in NM for a few days. You said to me, grab my Native American Flute and follow me. We ended up on the landing of a stairwell and you said to take a seat. I listened to your concert for 30 minutes. Some of the nurses kept popping in to listen too. When you finished, I asked why here in the stairwell? You replied, "great acoustics".
I remember one year ago to the date of your death, how my friend Sharon and I were visiting you and Diana at your house and your family from NJ was there, many of Diana's family too and several of your friends. We had quite the day, between a feast of food, to the great concert that you and several band mates gave us. It was a fantastic day.
I will always think of you as I listen to your "Hearts of the Sun" CD when I want to just relax.
There will be a big void in so many of our lives without you in it. Most of all Diana, whom I have loved getting to know and cherish our relationship. We will all be there for her.
I only wish that I had had more years to see and talk to you after so many wasted years, but I will treasure my memories of you. You were a beautiful person.
Lovingly, your Cousin Marc Kamin(Denver, CO.)

Seeing lighting shows and hear the thunder over South Mountain, then the calming gentle breezes after the storms will bring the remembering of Dave's flute play for the Gober's hearts. Our prayers to you and your family.

Dave played in a band with my father, Tom Lamberton, back in the day. I remember as a little kid when everyone would come over for band practice, and I don't remember the last time I saw Dave after my dad had passed, but from what I'd heard through the grapevine, it sounded like Dave fought hard through a lot and still kept playing music. Condolences from Alex Lamberton, and also from my mother Vicki Sano (formerly Lamberton) and my stepfather Stephen Sano.

How sad I am to hear about David's passing. I worked at Davis Hardware and David was a customer but not for long because he became my friend. David knew how I felt about God and Christmas. One Christmas season he came in and played Christmas carols for me on one of his instruments. He stood behind me and continued to play even though I had to do my job and wait on customers. How grateful I will always be that God put such a person in my life.
May God comfort his family.

Dave was my best friend ever since I met him about 5 years ago. Our interests began in radios but quickly developed into a close friendship. I was able to share his good times and bad times and through it all, he always had the best of attitude. His strength, sincerity, and gentleness always shined through. He gave me and all who knew him important lessons about life. There is a empty spot in my heart Dave, but I will always remember you.

It was a true pleasure to have known David. I am deeply honored to have been his friend and for the time I had to make music with him and partake of his wisdom. His inspiration and impact on this world will live on and his gentle soul can now truly take on "The Flight of the Eagle."

To hear David play was to have a chance to glimpse the angels. And our feeling is that when he played, he too reached the angelics And that's what gave him some of his beautiful, gentle soul that smiled, loved and accepted all that his difficult life brought him.Thank you, dear friend, for your gentle Being. In Love and admiration, Mary-Margaret and Justin Moore.

David was my cousin. He was everything the obituary said and more. He was very giving and made everyone else around him smile just by being there. I always enjoyed his visits when I was a kid. He was 16 years my senior, so he knew a lot about the world that I did not. He introduced me to ham radio. I remember once at his home in upstate New York, he let me turn the dial of the ham radio and it picked up a station somewhere in North Carolina that was playing Dire Straits' Sultans of Swing. I was about 12 years old at the time and thought it was the coolest thing ever to hear a station so far away. He was adored by so many people and he will be missed.
Sincerely ~~ David Rosenberg in Florida.
