Belinda Bober

BOBER - Belinda Annette Bober, 66, and a long time resident of Albuquerque, went to be with our Lord on Sunday May 29th, 2011. She was born and raised in El Paso, TX. Belinda graduated from Austin High School, and went on to study at Hotel Dew Medical Center receiving a degree in Medical Technology. She furthered her education by attending Harvard University receiving numerous certifications in her field of study. She learned to speak four languages mastering Spanish, English and German. As an entrepreneur she and her husband established the first Bio-Medical Engineering Company in the Southwest called Medical Corp. Belinda was big hearted; loving and a forgiving woman who loved to cook, dance, and spend time with her grandchildren. She was greatly loved by all who knew her. Our mother will be remembered as a gregarious person who made everyone feel special. Mrs. Bober was preceded in death by her parents Maria and Frederico Villalba; her in-laws Ilse and Joachim Bober; Brother in law Karli Mirshime; Brother Joe Vilalba and wife Licha; and Frederico Villalba Jr. and wife Clara; Sister Ernestina Silva; Nieces Ginny Silva and Pamela Frasher; Great Nephew Jacob Portillo. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Thomas Bober; daughter Ingrid Bober; sons Matthias Bober and wife Jeanette; Dr. Jorg Bober and wife Ronda; sister- in-law Crista Mirschime; brother Danny Villalba and wife Nora Linda; sisters, Celia Portillo and Delma Way; grandchildren Andrew Garcia, Julian Abata, Thomas Abata, Matthias Bober II, Amber Rodriguez and husband Hiram, Brennon Bober, Garrett Bober, Bree Bober, and Jurgen A. Bober-Noonan, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Belinda’s life will begin with the Visitation on Friday, June 3, 2011, at 6:00 pm, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Visitation and Rosary will by held at Daniel’s Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Shrine of St. Bernadette’s on Saturday June 4th, 2011, at 9:00 am, with Interment to follow.
