Emma H. Cordova

Emma Herrera Cordova, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2017.  
Emma was born on September 15, 1921 in Arroyo Hondo, NM, to Juan de Dios and Abenicia Herrera.  She resided in Albuquerque, NM since 1965 and was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, her husband Ernesto Cordova, and her grandson, Mateo Cordova.  
Emma is survived by her four children, Sylvia Ketterman (Tom), Edmund Cordova (Jennifer), Frances Prieto (Ruben) and David Cordova; her grandchildren Ruben J Prieto, David Ketterman, Edmund M Cordova (Pam), Jacob Prieto, Alicia Cordova de Unruh and Miranda Thibodeau (Jamie); and her great-grandchildren Adam and Samantha Thibodeau.
Emma dedicated her life to being a loving and generous mother and grandmother. She instilled the kind spirit of the Lord by living her life with patience and love and showing affection to all of God’s living creatures. Emma truly embodied the humble grace of the Lord by always keeping her door open to family, friends and neighbors. Her example in life will be missed, but by the grace of God will be carried on through the enlightenment of the lives she touched.  
Rosary will be held on Wednesday November 8, 2017 at 10:00 am followed by mass at 10:30 am at Thomas Aquinas Parish, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Burial will follow the mass at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 North Guadalupe St., Santa Fe, NM 87501.
