James "Mac" McLaren Jonas

James McLaren "Mac" Jonas, 15, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017. He was born on July 5, 2002 in Albuquerque, NM to J. Timothy and Suzanne (Goad) Jonas of Rio Rancho, NM. Mac was currently a freshman at The ASK Academy. He was intelligent, funny, a prankster, loving, caring, deep thinker, complex, artistic and extremely loved for him being his true self. He loved to do impressions of others, especially of his Dad. Mac enjoyed working on cars and had dreams of things he would do to his Ford Mustang. His family spent a lot of time on their dirt bikes and playing games. As a family, they traveled to the San Diego, CA area and Mac thoroughly enjoyed the ocean water.  

Mac was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James L. Jonas and Dyton Pete Goad. He is survived by his adoring parents, Tim and Suzanne Jonas; brother and friend, Aaron "A.J." Gunnar Jonas; grandparents, Beatrice M. Jonas of Laguna Woods, CA, and Nelma Jewell Goad of Rio Rancho, NM; aunts and uncles, Jan (Dennis) Mitchell, David (Claudia) Jonas, Robert (Kathy) Jonas, Pete Goad, Tina Biedenharn; many cousins and  numerous other family and friends who will hold a special place in their heart for such a great young man.

A Memorial Service will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at CrossFit HellBox, 581 Quantum Road NE, Suite 102, Rio Rancho, NM.
