Melvin F. Hesse

HESSE, MELVIN F
Age 92, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017. He was born on a farm in Wisconsin, to Henry and Eleanor Hesse on April 23, 1925. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Esther Boe, on June 12, 1954 in Minnesota. The couple lived in Glenwood, MN until they relocated to Rio Rancho, NM in 1976. They retired to Logan, NM in 1996 to enjoy fishing and a small town life. Buddy returned to Rio Rancho in 2013 to live with his son, Corey, where he passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 1, 2017.
Mr. Hesse attended the original incorporation meeting of the city of Rio Rancho in the old city auditorium. He and his wife were proud founding members of Peace Lutheran Church in Rio Rancho. Melvin is survived by his daughter, Dawn (David) Thompson of Starbuck, Mn; daughter, Terry of Minneapolis/St. Paul; son, Dana (Dee) of Humboldt, IA; son, Corey of Rio Rancho, NM. He was blessed with six granddaughters, Jill, Julie, Linda, Lisa, Laura, Emma, and their families, including seven great grandchildren, as well as his two sisters, Marlys Fischer and Gloria Tabbert.
