Age 56, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017. She was born in Belen, NM on March 28, 1961 to Robert and Evangeline Baca Torres. She was raised in Socorro, NM and was a graduate of Socorro High School. After graduation, Ronaele continued her education at the College of Santa Fe and received her Bachelor's Degree in Education in May 2005. She then returned to Socorro and began teaching at Parkview Elementary where she remained for the next 14 years. In 2014, Ronaele and her husband Craig moved to Roswell, NM where she has been teaching at Dexter Elementary School. She enjoyed shopping, baking and spending time with her grandchildren. They were her greatest joy. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert A. Torres.
Ronaele is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Craig DeYoung; her children, Robert Mata and fiance Alicia Lucero and Eloisa Romero and husband Jason; grandchildren, Taylei and Tatum Romero and Jonah and Jayana Lucero-Mata; her mother, Evangeline Torres; brother, Rodney W. Torres and sister, Roslyn W. Gifford as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 2:00 PM till 4:00PM at El Sombrero, 210 Mesquite, Socorro, NM.
