Farmington -Aaron Chase Kirkpatrick Aaron Chase Kirkpatrick, 27, of Farmington, was born April 13, 1983 in Farmington to Terry J. and Debra J. Copeland-Kirkpatrick. God took him home on August 21, 2010. Aaron’s family moved to Tucson, AZ and later moved to Las Vegas, NV where he attended Palo Verde High School. He had recently moved back to Farmington to be near his mother. Aaron was a very talented artist. He found his niche with body art. Tattooing was his passion. He was a curious and inquisitive person as a child and as a man. He had a tendency to jump in with both feet before testing the water. Consequently, he was often surprised how deep the water was, both in relationships and life. He carried on no matter what obstacles in life were before him. Aaron’s friends were as close to him as his family. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Ermalee Kirkpatrick and Selby Copeland, as well as his second “dad” and mentor, uncle, David Read. He is survived by his parents; mother, Debra J. Copeland-Kirkpatrick, father, Terry J. Kirkpatrick, “baby” sister Alician Copeland, grandmother Louise Copeland and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Special thanks to the Fire Dept., Doug Walker, the Ambulance service as well as all the medical staff at San Juan Regional Medical Center who assisted in caring for Aaron. Words can not describe our heartfelt appreciation. Honorary pallbearers are: Ryan Read, James Morris, Wes Brown, Derrick Gerlick, Anton Prinacky, Myles Copeland and Jeff Kinney. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at First Assembly of God Church, 805 Saguaro Trail in Farmington with Reverend Christie DeWees officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to: Cope Memorial Chapel of Farmington 404 W. Arrington, Farmington, New Mexico (505) 327-5142.
