Accursia "Grace" DiSilvestro

Accursia (Grace) DiSilvestro passed away on July 27, 2022, in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 92.

Grace is survived by her daughters, Jo Costick (Rio Rancho), Anna D. Chavez (Albuquerque) and Catherine DiSilvestro (Albuquerque), her grandchildren, Christina Tomkinson (Lahaina HI) and Stephen A. Costick (Albuquerque).  She also leaves behind three great grandchildren, Noah, Milo, and Elliott (Guliette Grace is expected in October 2022), as well as her 4 beloved dogs Nina, Penny, Bug, and Lilly.

Grace was born on November 12, 1929 in Sciacca, Sicily.  She married Antonino DiSilvestro on July 27, 1948.  Nino passed away in 2010.  They emigrated to America in the early 1950s. 

Grace was a wonderful Italian cook. She loved spending time with her family, walking her dogs, sewing and enjoyed her vegetable garden and fruit trees.  

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 11:00 am.
