Adam Joseph Trujillo

Age 84, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022. He was born in Sapello, NM on March 28, 1938, to Secundino and Guadalupe Trujillo.

He was preceded in death by his father, Secundino Trujillo; mother, Guadalupe Trujillo; as well as his brother, Cristobal Trujillo.

Adam is survived by his wife, Pauline Valdez Trujillo of Albuquerque, NM; his son, Tomas Trujillo; his daughter, Cristina Trujillo; his sister, Mary Trujillo Vigil and husband Tony Vigil; his grandchildren, Angelle Trujillo, Adan Trujillo and Arian Trujillo; and was expecting his first great-granddaughter.

Adam graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1956. He then went on to college at NM Highlands University and got his Bachelor of Arts degree for Biology in 1960. That same year he married his beautiful wife, Pauline Valdez, and they have been married for 62 years. Adam worked for the Food and Drug Administration for 33 years. He was also the President of Zia Quality Systems for 10 years. He was a member of many organizations such as the National Hispanic Cultural Center, the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, and the Fundacion Educativa Mexicana de Nuevo Mexico, and was a consultant for health and safety in the US and Latin America.

Adam loved to play golf and tennis and to listen to music, especially Hispanic songs and Spanish guitar. He was a devoted husband, father, and a kind and gentle grandfather. He was an honest, hard-working man with great integrity.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will take place at Daniels Family Funeral Home at 7601 Wyoming NE on Wednesday September 28^th at 11:00am to 12:00pm.  Adam will be interred at the Gates of Heaven in a small, private, family service.
