Adele Ann McClure, 66, passed away October 4, 2010, in Aztec. She was born Aug. 14, 1944 in Miami, AZ. Adele graduated from Aztec High School in 1962 and in 1963 graduated from Denver Business School. In 1964, Adele married Adrian Moore in Aztec. They had a daughter, Wendy Moore. In 1968, she married John McClure in Fort Worth, TX. They had two sons, Greg and Gary. Adele was a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her mom, Zelda McWilliams; grandparents, Boyd and Rhoda Abrams, great-grandparents, Adella and Samuel O. Pinkstaff, Henry and Rosa Abrams; brother, James Pomeroy. Adele is survived by her husband, John McClure; daughter, Wendy Moore of Terrell, TX; sons, Greg McClure of Aztec, Gary and Gerin McClure of Aztec; brother, William Pomeroy of Cuba, NM; two grandchildren, McKenzie Moore of Terrell, TX age 6, Garrett McClure of Aztec age 5. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2010 at First United Methodist Church of Aztec, 123 E. Chaco, with Pastor Jeff Symonds officiating.
