Adelina Sandoval Major
Passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the age of 92.She was born in Santa Fe, NM and attended Our Lady of Guadalupe grade school and graduated from Loretto Academy in 1942. Adelina was preceded in death by her parents, Dora Gorman Romero, Rafael Sandoval; and her wonderful step-father, Luis Romero; and her beloved husband, Carl M. Sprunger. Also by her only and much loved "Tio" John Gorman; sister, Louise Montoya and Charles "Bob" Major. She is survived by her son, Carlos Sprunger; sisters, Ramona Montoya and husband Ben, Dora Ortiz and husband Leroy; brother, Frank Romero and wife Dolores. Also step-daughters, Barbara Eslinger and husband Galen, Sue Holmes and husband John, Becky Major and step-son, Mike Major and wife Linda. Many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Church Of The Risen Savior, a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, member of Our Lady's Outreach and Altar Society. Adelina volunteered for over 18 years at the Women's Hospital.
Services will be held October 14, 2016 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Rosary at 12:30pm with Mass to follow at 1:00pm.
