Adelita "Della" Sanchez

Adelita “Della” Sanchez        March 1, 1953 – January 22, 2022

Adelita “Della” Sanchez was called home January 22, 2022.

Della loved to paint, draw and listen to all kinds of music.  She played the piano and guitar (self taught). She loved birds, nature and looking up at the night skies for UFO’s.  Della was an amazing cook and loved to cook for her family.  She especially loved yard sales and Christmas.  She had a great sense of humor, a generous nature and the kindest soul.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Andres and Julia Sanchez, her brothers Mike and Rudy Sanchez.

Della is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Rainy) Adam, her husband Ben and granddaughters Delilah Santiago (Nick) and Sophia Adam and great-granddaughter Aaliah Santiago. 

She is survived by her siblings Esther Thompson (Jim), Patricia North (Bob), Jenny Derryberry (Thurman) and Andy (BooBoo) Sanchez.  She is also survived by Sister-in-Law Cecilia Sanchez (Mike) in addition to 10 nieces and nephews and 20 great nieces and nephews.
