Ajahannah “Jannah” Faith Rustila Wilcox, 15, of Farmington, died on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, in Farmington. She was born Aug. 9, 1995, in Farmington, to John and Helen Faith Wilcox.
Jannah was a 10th grade student at Piedra Vista High School. She participated in PVHS drama, track and cross country. She loved drawing and sketching and music, played the piano and was an active member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church youth group.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Antonio E. Rustila Sr, Jean Wilcox and Dorris Wilcox; uncles, Tony Rustila Jr., Arthur Rustila and Joe Rustila.
She is survived by her parents; brothers, Japheth John, John Porter Jr., and Paul John; sisters, Johnelen Faith, Johnelle Faith, Amber Cochran and Amy Brown; grandmother, Ester P. Rustila; aunts, Cres, Bebing and Cathy of the Philippines, Grace of Arizona, Lulu, Marilou and Hope of the Philippines, Joyce and Abeth of Norway, Jenny Wilcox of Texas, and Jan Wilcox and Ruby Wilcox of Farmington, New Mexico; uncles, Edgar, Alex and Douglas of the Philippines and Nolan and Chuck of Farmington, New Mexico; nephew, Marcus Sewell; nieces, Emahni and MacKenzie.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today, April 8, at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute St. in Farmington.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 211 W. 20th St. in Farmington. The Rev. Steve Ballew will officiate. Interment will follow the service, at Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington
The reception will follow the interment, at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Pallbearers are J.J. Wilcox, J.P. Wilcox, Josh Smryl, Jesse Rousset, Bryan Sharp, Justin Yazzie, Patrick Cheney, and Allen Palmer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jannah Wilcox Fund at Vectra Bank. Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home
