Albert P. Disch

Disch- Albert P. Disch, 76, born on May 9, 1932 in Beaumont Texas was released from his bonds of this world on April 17, 2009, meeting his Savior, Jesus Christ. Albert, the son of Cordelia Giesendorff and William Disch, is survived by his wife of 52 years, Amelia; daughter Cindy and husband Kevin Barr; son Eric and wife Cathy; son Ron and wife Luisa; and son Albert Jr. and wife Valerie; 11 grandchildren: April and husband Nathan Sweet, Amelia and husband Eric Nazworth with great-grandson Ricky, Brandon with great-grandson Dillon, Melissa, Jayson, Travis, Ryan, Russell, Kylie, Kaitlyn and Jordyn, many nieces and nephews and brother Otto and wife Christine, son Paul, daughter Brenda from Garland, Texas all who love and will deeply miss him and his sense of humor. He served in the Korean War, moved to Albuquerque where he was a resident for more than 50 years and retired from Sandia National Laboratories in 1994 after 35 years of service. He was a member of Church of the Risen Savior Catholic Church. Albert enjoyed his retirement, spending much time with his family, traveling, enjoying life and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. In lieu of flowers, his wish was for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
