Alex "Lobo" Simon Gonzales, Jr

Age 61, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born in Las Vegas, NM on October 30, 1957, to Alex  and Josephine Medina Gonzales. Alex graduated from West Las Vegas High School and joined the U.S. Army. He drove  trucks for a living for companies such as Smiths, Walmart and the last few years for A-1 Quality Redimix. Alex was a dedicated family man and he enjoyed fishing and camping. He also enjoyed playing pool, playing golf and riding his motorcycle. Alex will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Alex is survived by sisters, Betty Saavedra and husband, Joe, Anna Gonzales and Brenda Sanchez and husband, Edward; brothers, Rico Gonzales, Ron Gonzales and wife, Narcisa, and Paul Gonzales and wife, Yvette; godson, Paul Gonzales Jr., stepsons, Daniel and Benito Lovato; granddaughter, Davinity; nephew, Jose Gonzales and companion, Kelsie; and many other nephews and nieces.  Rosary to be recited on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at 9:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro with Mass of Resurrection to follow at 10:00 am.  Celebrant Rev. John Anasiudu.  Burial will take place at San Miguel Catholic Cemetery  following service.  Pallbearers will be Alex Chavez, Henry Rosas, Adam Ware and Robert Ware.
