Alford Lee ( Tex ) Smith, 80, 0f Farmington , passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010 at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington. He was born on June 19, 1929 in Kelton , Texas to Buell and Linnie Bell (Harris) Smith. Tex was a local tax consultant and business man. He is survived by his wife, Ruth M. ( Anderson ) Smith and sister Joy Fern Bierig. Children, Mike and wife Jang Smith of Aztec, daughter Sarah Eaton of Lacey, WA,son Steve Smith of Albuquerque, daughter Vivian (Waldron) Duncan and husband Don of Kirtland, son Vernon (Sonny) Waldron and wife Dawn Dee of Kirtland, 16 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Zack Tony, David Duncan, Jesse Waldron, Jason Smith, Steve Glenn, and Walter Eaton. Honorary Pallbearers are Tim Fox, Don Duncan, and Richard Gibbson.
