Garcia passed away on April 15, 2010 in Gallup, New Mexico, He was 50 years old. He was born on December 16, 1959 in Gallup to Alfred Garcia Sr. and Rose McCrea Garcia. He was born for Kiiyaa’aanni (Towering House People) and in to Naakaiidine’e (Mexican People) Mr. Garcia was a drywall sub-contractor, and master craftsman. He was a graduate of Gallup High School, was an all star basketball player, he was active with the Gallup Men’s league. He was a huge pro basketball and football fan. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing. But will best be remembered as a loving dad, and grandpa, brother, and son. He is survived by his children; Shelley Garcia-Nuckols and her husband Donovan of Gallup. Kevin R. Garcia of Gallup, Elizabeth B. Garcia of Gallup. His Wife; Karyn Wato of Gallup. Three grandchildren; Gabriella Nuckols, Isaiah Nuckols, Ciana Berg. His Mother; Rose Garcia of Tsayatoh. Two brothers; Ronnie S. Garcia and his wife Victoria of Gallup, Larry Florence and his wife Frieda of Mexican Springs. Two sisters; Rachel J. Garcia and her husband John of Tooele, Utah, and Aurelia S. Garcia of Gallup. His grandmother; Annie McCrea of Tsayatoh. And numerous nephews and nieces also survive him. He was preceded in death by his Father; Alfredo S. Garcia Sr., his brothers; Benjamin L. Garcia and Conrad S. Garcia. One granddaughter; Adrianna R. Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers include his friends that meant the world to him; Kevin Garcia, Isaiah Nuckols, Donovan Nuckols, Ron Garcia, Larry Florence, Ryan Garcia, John Vincent Garcia, Nick Garcia, Basilio Padilla, Tommy Mims, Ralph Paredes, Wayne Chopito, Brian O’Dell, Edward Anderson, and many more loving family, friends and all his Silver Bullet team mates.
