Alfred Vallejos Jr.

Alfred (“Juni, Fred, Al”) Vallejos Jr, age 69, passed away peacefully at home on January 03, 2022, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born July 25, 1952, to Alfredo Vallejos and Louisa Cisneros in Albuquerque, NM. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law: Rito Placencio. 

He is survived by his children and their spouses: son, Mario Vallejos (Felicia Vallejos) of Albuquerque, NM, and daughter, Amanda Vallejos (Manuel Irwin) of Albuquerque, NM; sisters: Angie Placencio, Frances Vallejos of Albuquerque, NM, and Teresa Dominguez of Seattle, WA; and grandchild, Shiala Vallejos. 

Alfred graduated from Albuquerque High School. Following graduation, he proudly and honorably served his country four years in the US Marine Corps. Most recently he was employed at the VA Hospital and was the president of the union at the VA.  

Alfred enjoyed many things like playing music, going for rides, and looking out at the stars. He had such an outgoing, charming, and beautiful soul with a great sense of humor. He loved his sisters very much and he especially loved his two children and will be dearly missed. 

We would also like to give a special thanks to his very good friend Annie Martinez for everything that she did for him. 

A Visitation will be held Monday, January 24, 2022, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, followed by a Rosary at 2:30 PM and a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Interment will be Monday, February 14, 2022, at 9:45 AM, at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
