Sanchez, Alfredo R.
Age 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at his home in Polvadera, NM surrounded by his loving family . He was born in Socorro, NM on November 19, 1925, to Ambrosio  and Maria (Ramirez) Sanchez.  Alfredo was a lifelong resident of Socorro County. He spent many years in Magdalena, NM working in the mines and also working at a lumber company. Alfredo loved to hunt and to go camping with his family. Alfredo will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and three sisters.  Alfredo is survived by daughter, Jennie Gamez; sons, Rudy Sanchez and Frankie Sanchez; grandchildren, Jennifer Sanchez and companion, Chantelle, Manuel Gamez and fiance, Kendra Monte, Rafael Gamez, Jose Gamez, and Frankie Sanchez Jr.; great-grandchildren, Julianna  Chavez, Bobby Chavez Jr., Matthew Gamez, Luis Gamez, Janelle Sanchez and  Taeya Gamez .  The Holy Rosary will recited on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at 9:30 am at San Lorenzo Catholic Church in  Polvadera with Mass of Resurrection to be celebrated at 10:00 am.  Celebrant Father Andrew Pavlak.  Burial will take place at San Lorenzo Cemetery following service.  Pallbearers will be Rafael Gamez, Manuel Gamez, Frankie Sanchez, Pete Benavidez, Eluijio Benavidez and Blas Benavidez Jr..  To view information or leave a condolence, please visit www.danielsfuneral.com.
