Alianna "Bubbas" Farfan

Alianna “Bubbas” Jolissa Farfan has sadly passed away on January 11, 2024.  Bubbas was born January 30, 2000, to parents Melissa Lucero and Joseph Farfan in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Bubbas attended Highland High School and went on to attend Job Corps receiving her diploma in 2016.  Bubbas was preceded in death by her grandfather, Enriquez Bustos, cousin Aleandra Sanchez, and her great grandfather Richard LeDoux through marriage.  Bubbas is survived by her mother Melissa Lucero and stepfather Pete Ysasi of Albuquerque, NM, father Joseph Farfan of Albuquerque, NM, two young sons Augustine Armijo and Valentino Farfan both of Albuquerque, NM; grandparents Paul and Brenda LeDoux of Bosque Farms, NM, Joe and Dana  Austin of Rio Rancho, NM,  great grandmother through marriage Loretta LeDoux, special aunts and uncles Carlos and Jamie Lucero of Albuquerque, NM; Fred and Frances Sanchez of Villanueva NM; Lonnie and Wilda Martinez of Albuquerque NM, Steve and Helen   Gonzales of Portales NM; Albert and Sandy Baca of Farms NM, aunt Jovanna Austin of Albuquerque, William and Aspen Fresquez; uncle Mark LeDoux; Half-brother Xaydrian Hoagland; first cousins Rhea Lucero of Albuquerque, NM, Elaina Sanchez of Villanueva, NM, Leysia and Calitos Lucero of Albuquerque, NM, Phoebe and Jesse Jr. Salazar of Villanueva, NM; Bubbas’s best friend and confidant, Maria Coronado of Albuquerque, NM; special friends and family Stephanie, Neysa , Sarah and Danielle.  great grandparents Ellen Anaya of Albuquerque NM; Peter and Rebecca Rodriguez.  And to all the many friends and family and pets Teddy “Ted” and Pieta “Pepita.” 

Bubbas worked as a manager for a year at Casa Taco restaurant. She also worked as a hostess at Scalo restaurant. Bubbas also worked at Bank of America call center. Her interest in cooking did not stop at work, Bubbas loved cooking interesting food for her family and friends.  Bubbas loved music and attending concerts.  Bubbas also had a special fascination with the night sky.  She enjoyed journaling, drawing, and taking pictures of the night sky.  Bubbas loved the outdoors and tranquility it provided her.  Bubbas was an active member of the New Beginnings Church where you could find her always with her bible and annointing those who accompanied her. 

The family would like to send a special thank you to all the family and friends who have supported them through these difficult times.  May God bless you.

 A viewing for Bubbas will take place at New Beginnings Church 4470 Montgomery Blvd Albuquerque, NM 87109 Thursday January 25, 2024, from 10:30-11:00 am with services to follow from 11:00-12:00pm.  There will be a reception with food and beverages will be provided after services at New Beginnings Church from 12:00-2:00pm.
