Alice V. Peters

Alice V. Peters, 84, of Kirtland, loved to travel and reached her final destination to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 29, 2010. She was born April 25, 1926, to John Dyott and Mary Edna (Mullikin) Dyott. She was a dedicated wife to her husband, Marion "Joe" Peters, who she loved and adored for more than 40 years. She was preceded in death by her son,Tim Kirwin; and stepson,Joseph Peters. She is survived by her husband, Joe Peterson; sister, Shirley Smith; brother, Phillip Dyott; children, Ben Kirwin (Debbie), Michael Kirwin (Dee), Cecelia (David) Malouff, John Kirwin (Patty); stepchildren, Tom Peters, Kathy Bigham (Rick) Carl Peters (Terrie), Cindy Stutler (Gary), Debbie Hagen and Bill Peters (Laurie); and a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 AM Nov. 4 at Cope Memorial Chapel, 458 county Road 6100, Kirtland, NM (505)598-9636. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Farmington, Farmington, NM.
