Allegra Lujan, 57, was called back to the Lord on November 15, 2024 after a brief and sudden illness. Allegra’s life began on September 29, 1967 in Socorro, NM where she was born and raised. After High School, she attended several colleges, trying to find herself, but after several years, she moved back to Socorro where she worked as a bartender. While back in Socorro, she met her husband who was a student at New Mexico Tech. Allegra and Isaac married on September 8, 2001 and were married for 23 years at the time of her passing. Allegra lived in New Mexico, Oregon, and Michigan during her lifetime. She enjoyed going on “adventures” exploring new places when she lived out of state, but she always considered New Mexico home. Allegra’s contributions on earth were not from a job, career, or any accomplishments that she got recognition for. Her contributions were much more meaningful, and only recognized by those that loved her most. Allegra’s most valuable contributions on earth were her heart and her smile. She showed so much love, compassion, sympathy, and generosity for anyone she met in life. She gave her time, and unconditional love to everyone she met and never ran out of time or love when she met someone new. She gave 100% to all her relationships and friendships, and never took anything or anyone for granted. Allegra never knew a person she didn’t like. She was a true friend to all that were lucky to have known her.
Allegra was preceded in death by her sister, Julie Andra Serna and father Rey Serna. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Isaac Lujan, mother Maryetta Serna, nephews Christopher Gonzales, Aiden Gonzales, Joshua Valerio, and Tyler Valerio, and nieces Faith Lujan and Alicia Valerio. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends that loved her so much.
