It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Allen L. Coleman, beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on June 13, 2025. He will now be reunited with his beautiful wife Stephanie.
Allen was born in Shamrock, Texas on January 17, 1953, to Joe & Jean Coleman. He later moved to Albuquerque, NM where he met the love of his life, Stephanie and her two beautiful children.
Allen enjoyed playing guitar and singing bluegrass and country music. He also sang in the church music ministry both in Albuquerque, NM & in Waco, TX. Allen loved fishing and spending time with family and friends. Allen worked for the city of Rio Rancho for over 20 years where he met countless friends.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Joe & Jean, his brother Mark, and by his wife Stephanie. Allen is survived by his children, Monica and Dennis (Cristina) Romero, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Allen will be remembered for his beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and the loving kindness that he showed to all who knew him.
The family welcomes everyone who knew & loved Allen to join us in wishing him farewell for now. On Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 6pm to 8:30pm with a rosary at being recited at 7:00pm Daniels funeral home at 4310 Sara Rd. SE Rio Rancho, NM 87124. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Church of the Incarnation 2309 Monterrey Rd. NE Rio Rancho, NM 87144. Interment will take place on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 9:30am at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE. Albuquerque, NM 87102.
