Alma Elizabeth Brooks

Alma Elizabeth Brooks, 92 of Aztec died June 11, 2010 in Farmington. She was born on April 27, 1918 to Edgar and Rosa Lynn Nall in Lewis Town, Missouri. She moved to Aztec in 1956 and worked in numerous restaurants in the area as cook. Alma is survived by her children Mary Chapman and husband Jesse of Flora Vista, Betty Dickey and husband David of Denver and Kenneth Brooks and wife Christina of Albuquerque. She also leaves behind 6 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Her husband William Brooks preceded her in death in 1992. Burial will follow at the Aztec Community Cemetery with Roger Brooks, Ross Trujillo, Ross T. Trujillo, Gregory Clark, Larry Stewart and Jake Welch serving as Pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Brooks and Jesse Chapman. A special thank you goes out to Cedar Ridge Nursing Home and the three private care givers who provided mother with the love and care she so richly deserved. We will miss you mom.
