Angela Simmons, 52 of Rio Rancho, New Mexico died peacefully in her home on Sunday, March 22nd, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Angela was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on January 26th, 1974, to Helen and Leonord Glowacki. Angela moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico when she was a young child and has been a part of the community since. She graduated from Cibola High School in 1992 and later welcomed her two daughters, Gabrielle Torres on April 6th, 2000, and Elyse Torres on December 15th, 2003. Angela married her other half, Joel Simmons, on April 5th, 2012. Angela was a motivated and diligent individual who took on multiple roles which included owning and operating Mountain View Pest Control and being a dedicated realtor for the surrounding community that she grew up in.

As a child, she enjoyed playing the violin, reading, and excelled in her school’s Gifted program. In her adulthood, she was a wonderful and devoted mother to her two children and loving wife to her husband. She enjoyed creating diamond art displays, spending time with her dog, Bella and bird-watching quails in her backyard. Angela loved traveling near and far and creating new memories with her family, friends, and those she loved. Angela was kind, intelligent, gracious, and a ray of sunshine in every room she walked in. Angela’s laugh could be recognized from a mile away. Her witty and hilarious sense of humor left a lasting impression on those she met.

Angela is preceded in death by her brother Steven Glowacki, paternal grandparents Walter and Stella Glowacki and maternal grandparents Michael and Helen Gaffin. Angela is survived by her husband Joel Simmons, daughters Gabrielle and Elyse Torres, brother Richard Glowacki, and her parents Helen and Leonard Glowacki. Angela touched so many lives, and will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew her.
