Anita Benjamin

Anita Gomez Benjamin, 93, was born in Magdalena, New Mexico on May 6, 1928 to Charlie Gomez and Virginia Lopez.  She left this world quietly on May 27, 2021.

Anita married Si Benjamin in 1949.  Anita and Si were blessed with 5 children, Virginia Green (Roy) of San Acacia, New Mexico; Steve Benjamin; Si Benjamin (Cassandra) Magdalena, New Mexico; Sallie Keilman (Greg) of Los Lunas, New Mexico and Charlie Benjamin (Barbara) of Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Anita was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.  She was also blessed with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents, husband Si, son Steve, grand-daughter Kaci Welty, grandson Clint Benjamin, granddaughter Heidi Welch, great-granddaughter, Rochelle Benjamin and great-grandson Lucas Green.

A celebration of Anita’s life is pending.
