Anita Ruth Mayberry

Anita Ruth Mayberry passed unexpectedly on July 19th, 2022, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, at the age of 63.  She was born on Thursday, July 24th, 1958, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Carmen Scott and Raymond Hampsten.   Anita attended Albuquerque High School, graduating in 1976.  She enjoyed being near any and all animals and jewelry making. Anita worked at the New Mexico Workers’ Compensation Administration for 10 years. 

Anita is preceded in death by her mother Carmen Scott and father Raymond Hampsten.

Anita is survived by her sons, Brian Moore of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and David Moore of Round Rock, Texas; and by her grandchildren, Grace Moore, KJ Erhard and Daithan Moore. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all Anita’s friends and coworkers that have offered their help throughout the years.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church, located at 3424 4th St. NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87107, on Thursday, July 28th, 2022, beginning at 9:00AM.  Following Mass, Interment will take place at Mount Cavalry Cemetery, located at 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87102.  A Reception will be held at VFW Post 5890, located at 76 Unser Blvd. NE, Rio Rancho, NM, 87124, beginning at 1:00PM.
