Anita Thorp

Thorp, Anita age 72, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011. She was born on January 4, 1939 to Denver and Evelyn Gilbert, in Clinton, MO. Anita was a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1980. She was a member of Monterey Baptist Church Albuquerque, NM . Anita enjoyed church activities such as participation in the kitchen and Bible School, gardening and walking her faithful companion Scout. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger W. Thorp, and son, Gregg Middaugh. Anita is survived by 2 daughters, Ann Preece of Albuquerque, NM, Sheila and Tom Byrne of Pleasant Hills, MO; sister Janice K. Gilbert of Clinton, MO.
