MARTINEZ, Anjilita, Every time a bell rings an angel gets her wings. Our little angel, "lita bear" got her wings Friday night, January 16, 2009, and flew home to heaven from her mommy's arms. April 14, 2006 Nick and Jamie Martinez were blessed with angel from heaven, Anjilita Martinez, in Albuquerque, NM. Doctors predicted her life would be only minutes, days or weeks and Lita proved them wrong with her faith and strong will to live and love. Anjilita (Angelita) loved her life and fought for every second she lived with a smile that would light up your day, and a laugh that would bring hope to the hopeless. She embraced each moment of pain with love, courage, and laughter. Lita showed us that every moment of life is a precious gift from God never to be taken for granted. Lita bears existence is proof that miracles exist. Lita loved her family dearly and expressed it sincerely. She enjoyed family gatherings Sissy Adriana playing with her, and listening to music, especially Elvis. Thank you Lord for blessing us with your most precious angel and we know someday we will be reunited one sweet day. Beautiful love is who she is, was, and ever shall be. In heaven our lita bear is awaiting her parents, Nick and Jamie Martinez, her brothers, Anthony and Jaden Martinez; her sisters, Adriana and Aliciana Martinez all of Farmington. Her paternal grandparents, Daniel and Velma Martinez and maternal grandmother Viola Gilbert of Farmington. Her paternal great grandma Viola Vigil of Farmington and Paternal great grandma Mercy Martinez of La Jara, CO., her paternal great grandma Catalina Hererra of Romeo, CO, uncles, Dominic (Barbie) Martinez, Julian, Jeremy, and Felipe Martinez of Farmington; Aunts, Crystal Martinez, Mandy (Armand) Arellano, Rachael, Monica, Stephanie, and Robin Mascarenas, Trisha Martinez all of Farmington; cousins, Natalia, Valerie, Victoria, J.D., Isabelle, Mercedes, Jozlynn, Ashley, Brandon, Abbey and Gabriella all of Farmington. Waiting for her arrival in heaven is Grandpa Lee and Uncle Shannon Mascarenas, Uncle Gilbert and Grandpa Walter Vigil and Great-Grandpa Joe B. Martinez. Pallbearers are her Uncles Dominic, Julian, Jeremy and Felipe Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers are all family mentioned including her Godparents, Marion and Clyde Martinez of Grand Junction, CO and Aunt Michelle Martinez. In lieu of flowers donations are being accepted at Community Bank in Farmington under the name of Anjilita Martinez.
