Anna Marie Barela

BARELA, Anna Marie Barela, 52 passed away October 2, 2010. Anna Marie was born January 12, 1958 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Modesto and Natividad (Trujillo) Martinez. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a long time parishioner of the Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Anna Marie worked at St. Joseph Hospital (Lovelace) and was a volunteer at the VA Hospital and she also worked at the Good Samaritan Retirement Home/Monzano del Sol. Anna Marie is preceded in death by her parents, brother; Daniel; sister, Beatrice and nieces; Perlinda and Layla. Anna Marie is survived by her son; Jacob Barela and his wife, Katie, her grandson; Emmanuel, sisters; Perlinda and Nannette, nephews; Nash and Julian, niece, Karri and several great nephews and great nieces. A rosary will be recited at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 10:00am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave., NE and interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Boulevard, NE.
