Genco, Anna Maria

Age 79, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, was embraced by our Lord Jesus, Friday, August 10, 2018 and taken to her heavenly home. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Santo Genco, son Joseph Genco, daughters Gloria Zarrella and Luana Heid, and grandchildren Jacob Heid, Alyssa Heid, Kendall Zarrella, Lena Genco and Rhianna Genco. Anna was born in Abruzzo, Italy in 1939, where she lived until she became a US citizen in 1960. She moved to New York where she met and married Santo in 1962. In 1975 the family settled in Rio Rancho, NM. Anna is happiest when she is cooking in her kitchen for her family and friends. She is a devout Catholic who spent many hours with her Prayer Group at St. Thomas Aquinas. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and was a seamstress for many years. Anna will be greatly missed by her loving family and by all those whose lives she touched.
