Anna "Marie" Pearson

Anna “Marie” Pearson passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 67.

Anna is survived by her husband, John Edward Pearson; children, John L. Martinez (Michelle A. Martinez), Lisa A. Gabaldon (Jason E. Gabaldon), and Joseph M. Martinez (Elizabeth Martinez); honorary son, David “Pee-Wee” Garcia; siblings, Rudy Garcia and Frances Garcia, Fidel “Junie” Garcia Jr., Lupa Garcia, Gaba Nieto, James Garcia, Larry Garcia and Betty Garcia, Margaret Garcia, Herman Garcia, and David Garcia; grandchildren, Steven P. Martinez, Marisa A. Martinez, Jason Gabaldon, Jamison Gabaldon, Brett M. Safford, Jordan Martinez and Sarah Martinez; honorary grandson, Cruzito Garcia; great grandchildren, Joshua J. Payan, Aniyah M. Safford, and Ariella R. Safford; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fidel and Antonia Garcia; siblings, Rose Chavez, Robert Garcia, Joe Garcia, Leroy Garcia, Martha Garcia, Loretta Garcia; mother-in-law, Ruby Mae Pearson, brother-in-law, Nick Pearson.

Anna was born on April 29, 1954 in Albuquerque, NM to Fidel and Antonia Garcia. She graduated from Valley High School in 1972. She married John E. Pearson on January 30, 1993 in Albuquerque, NM. They would be married for 28 beautiful years.

Anna loved spending time with family and friends. She was a generous and caring person who adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an active and dedicated member of Legacy Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
