Our brother, father, and son, Anthony “Tony” James Garcia Jr, lost his life unexpectedly on Monday October 7, 2019 in Albuquerque, NM. He was loved by all who met him and was amongst the kindest and humblest men to walk this earth. Tony loved his family, had many friends, and loved to travel. He often traveled between California and New Mexico with stops in between. Tony called California home where he lived with his sister, Teresa, and Grandmother, Candie. Tony often traveled to his second home, New Mexico, where he would visit his daughter, mother, and siblings. Tony was a man of many trades and could build or make anything he thought up. He’d often surprise family members with homemade gifts he’d make by hand. Tony had a love of cars, especially low-riders; which you’d often find him underneath of, working on it. Tony had a kind, nonjudgmental heart, and would lend a helping hand to anyone, expecting nothing in return. Tony loved many things, but there was nothing he adored more in this world then his daughter, Ariana; who loved and cherished her father beyond words. Tony is survived by his daughter, Ariana Garcia of NM; his father, Anthony Garcia Sr, of Paramount, CA; His mother, Veronica Lara & step-father, Hector Juarez of New Mexico; his sister, Teresa Urias whom he was very close to and loved dearly & husband Erick of Sacramento, CA; his sister Heather Juarez & spouse Daymen Castagnetto of NM; his brother Isaac Juarez of NM; his sister, Heidi Juarez of NM; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Tony is preceded in death by his daughter, Zoe Savannah Garcia; her mother, Dana Jean Trujillo; and his grandmother, Candie Garcia. Tony will be dearly missed and is forever loved. He is forever young. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, 10:00 am, at Escondida Lake in Esconida, NM.
