Antonio “Tony” Roberto Flores, 60 of Albuquerque passed away December 2, 2023 of pancreatic cancer. Antonio was born September 23,1963 and raised in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. He excelled at basketball and tennis and graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1980. He then enlisted in the US Navy where he was a Communications Specialist and served oversees in the Philippines. He returned to New Mexico after his service. He is the proud father of five children. He settled In Albuquerque working as a grill cook and cashier. He met his wife and enjoyed spending time with his family and visiting his children and extended family. He enjoyed listening to music, going to concerts, riding his motorcycle, playing with his pets and loved to make you laugh with a simple silly joke.

Born to Toribio Flores Sr. and Alicia Salazar-Flores: Antonio Flores was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Flores; brothers, Toribio Flores Jr. and Patrick Flores; and sisters, Merlinda Flores and Sarah Flores-Chavez. He is survived by his loving wife, Melanie Alfieri Flores, his daughters, Catherine (Francisco) Gurule, Christine (Aaron) Flores, and his granddaughter, Julianna Gurule. Sons: Phillip (Lexi) Flores, Antonio Flores and grandson Zander Flores. Sisters: Martina (Horacio) Anaya, Maggie (Brad) Ivie, Sylvia Alarid, Cecilia Delgado, and brothers: Ramon (Elvida) Flores, Lorenzo Flores, and John Flores. Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Joseph and Nancy Alfieri. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and many good friends. A Celebration of Life will be held in January in Albuquerque and private burial later in Santa Rosa.
