Arabella Martinez

Mrs. Arabella Martinez died peacefully in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at the age of 84 years.

Arabella is survived by her daughter Marcie and son in law James of Corrales, New Mexico, daughter Henrietta and son in law Andy of Corrales, NM, brother David Martinez of Albuquerque, NM, and Arabella is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Arabella is preceded in death by her loving husband Henry Martinez, by sister Ruby Garcia and by her brothers Manuel Martinez, George Martinez, and Felipe Gonzales. Arabella is also preceded in death by her loving furry friend Sugar.

Arabella was born on Sunday, October 10th, 1937, in Corrales, New Mexico, to Briselda Gonzales and Jose Inez Martinez. Arabella married Mr. Henry (Enriques) Martinez on Saturday, April 7th, 1956, in Corrales, New Mexico. They were married for 50 years and had two daughters. Arabella was a House cleaner for 44 years. Special interests of hers included going to church, to the casino and to lunch with the girls. Arabella was an active parishioner of San Ysidro Catholic Church.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 19th, 2022, from 3:00PM-3:30PM at Daniels Family Funeral Services – Sara Chapel located at 4310 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, 87124. Services will take place at San Ysidro Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022, Rosary will begin at 9:30AM, with Mass to follow at 10:00AM. Burial will take place at Corrales Cemetery on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022, beginning at 11:00AM, directly after Burial a Reception will be held at Corrales Parish Hall.
