Archie C. Duran, 75, of Placitas, New Mexico, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his stepmother, Valentina Duran; sisters Georgia Trujillo and her husband, Danny; Debbie Dominguez and her husband, Mario; Tina Romero and her husband, Leo; and Elenor. He is also survived by his brothers Joseph; Steven and his wife, Vangie; Tony and his wife, Jeanie; and Orlando and his wife, Gracie. Archie leaves behind 46 nieces and 46 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Meickey Lucero; father, Arsenio Duran; sister, Martha; brothers Louie and Adrian; niece Danielle Romero; nephews Mario Duran and Baby Adrian Velazco.

Archie was honored and proud to have served four years in the United States Army. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.
