Arthur Antonio Griego

Arthur (Arturo) Griego, 83, beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away February 21, 2023. He entered this world on March 12, 1939 in Pecos, NM, born to Charley Griego and Frances Roybal Griego.

He was preceded in death by both parents, brother Charlie Griego, sisters Paulina Snyder and Marie Contreras. Arthur is survived by brothers Andy Griego of Albuquerque, NM and Albert Griego of Huntington Beach, Ca. sisters, Frances (George) Flores of Albuquerque, NM and Linda (Mark) Martinez of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins whom he loved very much! Arthur worked with several construction companies through most of his life and retired from Hastings Entertainment, Inc. after 25 years.

He was an avid sports fan and loved the Denver Broncos and UNM Lobos.

Services will be at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Community, 2621 Vermont St. NE on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Rosary will begin at 10:00 am followed by Mass starting at 10:30 am and an Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
