Avelina Revee Aragon-Gray

Avelina “Trixx” Aragon-Gray, age 15, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023, in Albuquerque, NM, in her home. She was born January 2, 2008, to her mother Monique Aragon-Gray in Albuquerque, NM. 

        She was a wonderful student at Media Arts Charter School where she completed 8th and 9th grade. For middle school, she attended Hayes Middle School for her 6th and 7th grade years and for Elementary, she was a student at Mark Twain Elementary from kindergarten to 5th grade. 

       She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Luciano and Virginia Archuleta; and her cousins; Sheena, Patricia, And Justine. 

       Avelina “Trixx” is survived by her loving mother, Monique Of Albuquerque, NM; her mother’s spouse, Brandon of Albuquerque, NM; her little brother, Damiano of Albuquerque, NM; her grandparents, Maggie and Steven Salazar, of Albuquerque, NM; her other grandparent, Pete Aragon of Las Vegas, Nevada; her step brother, Seth of Albuquerque, NM; her uncle, John Archuleta of Albuquerque, NM; and her pets, Jinxx and Ferdinand. 

       She was active member of New Mexico Young Actors and made charitable hobbies such as feeding homeless. 

       A very special thank you to Dr. Shirley Abraham, of UNM Oncology- Hematology, her Social worker, Larel Christiansen; to the 6th Floor Specialty care and staff and to the infusion staff.Thank you to Miss Rachel, the New Mexico Young Actors Family, and to the Make a wish Childrens Center Fund. 

        Avelina loved to be creative! Her favorite arts were Resin Art, painting, sketching, cooking, singing, word games and dancing. She was quick witted, loving, and forgiving. She loved playing Chess and Poker. Her favorite Shows to watch were: Stranger Things, On my Block, Riverdale, Raising Dion, and anything anime! 

We will miss her sweet hearted soul dearly!
