Azure Hesley-Serene Vigil

Azure “AJ” Hesley-Serene Vigil, age 21, passed away on March 12, 2022, in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on March 31, 2022, to Deborah Vigil and Jeff Robins, in Albuquerque, NM.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jose Ruben Vigil and Tomas Padilla; her grandmother, Rita Vigil-Padilla; and her uncle, Joseph Vigil.

She was survived by her mother, Deborah Vigil of Farmington, NM; her father, Jeff Robbins of Albuquerque, NM; her step-mom, Shawna Simpson of Farmington, NM;  her grandfathers, Harold Bounds of Sumrall, MS, Chris Sandoval and John Robbins of Albuquerque, NM; her grandmother, Angela Sandoval, of Albuquerque, NM; her great grandmother, Adela Cooke of Albuquerque, NM; and her aunties, Dana Bounds-Garcia, Bonnie Vigil, and Chelsea O’Conner of Albuquerque, NM.

Azure graduated from DATA Charter School.
