Barbara Ann Cloud

Barbara Ann Cloud, age 79, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Her family gathered around her in her last days sharing how much she was loved not only by her family but many others that she came in contact with. You didn’t have to be around Barbara for very long before you knew how special she was.
Barbara was born on May 12, 1942 in Granite City, IL to Boyce and Estelle Clark. She raised two children, was always involved in school activities and things that interested her children. But life’s circumstances forced her to practice her typing skills and go back to work to support her family. These times were difficult, but she stayed strong and did what she had to do. Her greatest heartache was the loss of her son, Dan. She took this pain and turned it in to a way to help others. She went back to school, earned her degree and opened a counseling business.
In later years Barbara married her husband, Ernie. They met while square dancing and enjoyed many evenings dancing in a square dance group. In their 35 years of marriage, they enjoyed traveling, taking many cruises and trips to see the world. They also enjoyed many camping trips and time fishing on their boat. They were also involved in the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs organization.
Barbara also cherished the times she had with her grandchildren and great grandchildren who always brought a smile to her face.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Betty; her son Dan; infant son William; son-in-law Ernie Gallegos.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Ernie; daughter Kathy Wilke and husband Chuck; granddaughter Desiree Graham and husband Chris; great-grandsons: CJ, Daniel, and Cameron; grandson Brian Rolston; stepdaughter Linit Gallegos; grandson Joshua Chavez; stepson Jason Cloud and wife Dori; granddaughter Lisa McConnell and husband Derick; grandchildren: Jessie, Nathan and Amanda; nephew Bruce Lambert; brother Jerry Clark; nephew Paul Clark.
Due to special circumstances the funeral services for Barbara has been changed: A Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Due to special circumstances the funeral services for Barbara has been changed: A Graveside Service will follow at 11:30 AM at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM.
