Beatrice A. Apodaca

On Friday, November 19, 2021, Beatrice Apodaca, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 79. Beatrice was born on July 15, 1942 in Tucumcari, NM to Daniel and Irene Apodaca. She lived most of her adult life in Albuquerque, NM where she raised two sons, Frank and Edward, and daughter Brenda.

 

Beatrice was known for her contagious smile, honest personality, and giving, compassionate spirit. In spite of numerous personal hardships, Beatrice remained a strong matriarch for her children and grandchildren. In addition to her family, Beatrice also cherished her dogs Shorty, Baby Girl, and Scruffy. Beatrice was a lover of life who found joy in the simple things: a walk in the park, a good thrift store find, or even a spontaneous conversation with strangers. A devout Christian, Beatrice also found joy and solace in her faith. She enjoyed volunteering in the community and fellowship with fellow believers. 

 

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, children Brenda and Edward, and grandchild, Lorenzo. She is survived by her son, Frank, daughter-in-law, Lisa, grandchildren, Victor, Jonah, Edward, Jasmine, Amber, and Monique, and great grandchildren.

 

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Daniels Family Carlisle Chapel (3113 Carlisle Blvd., NE) at 3 o’clock p.m. Gathering will follow at 4605 Comanche Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
