Beatriz G. Chavez

October 29, 1930 — March 24, 2022

Beatriz G Chavez  October 29, 1930 -  March 24, 2022

Beatriz, age, 91, passed away March 24, 2022 at her home in Rio Rancho, NM.

She was born October 29, 1930 to Candido and Tomasita Garcia in Albuquerque, NM

She was preceded in death by husband Benny, her parents/sisters/brothers, and children (twins Mary and Joseph/Mary Ellen/Georgia, and Lorenzo), Granddaughter Denise/Great Grandsons Julian, and Twins Noah and Jack.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Benny/Nora, Tommy, Edward/Susie, Bobby/Sandra, Martin/Vicki Carmen/John, Rita, Gloria, Yadira, Charlie,17 Grand Children, and 19 Great Grand Children.

She worked hard all her life.  She worked as a housekeeper, for Nelson's Meats, and our Family owned Meat Markets.

Our mom had a hard life, but also a good life.  We celebrated her Birthday every Halloween.  She was a great cook, and insisted on cooking all our favorites, bean/tortillas, carne adovada, tamales, biscochitos, chili, sopaipillas, and natillas.

Her children were her world, and her greatest achievements were the High School Graduation of her children, purchasing her home, and knowing that her children and grandchildren had good jobs.

She loved her grandkids and great grandkids very much, and would make them little tortillas and biscochitos, and deliver them.

She spoke to her children everyday, Prayed the Rosary everyday, and always told us to pray and go to church.  She Loved reading the newspaper, watching The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, and Antique Road Show.

Our mom was the epitome of what a mother should be.  Our mother’s love and wisdom instilled in us, will forever be in our hearts.

Mom, we don’t know how we will live without you.  Thank you for everything you did for us. No more worries mom, we will always be there for each other, just like you taught us. We will teach our children and grandchildren to practice their faith, work hard, and how to make all the good food you made.

We Love you Mom, and miss you so very much.  Words alone cannot describe the Love and RESPECT we have for you mom. Thank you for being the BEST mom.
