Age 87, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020. She was born in Galiana, Chihuahua, Mexico on September 18, 1932, to Jose and Higinia S Marquez.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Jose Q Parra; grandson Ricky Joseph Parra; sisters, Anita Marquez and Jovita Gonzales; brothers, Manuel Marquez and Arturo Marquez. She is survived by her sons: Rick Parra and Joe Parra of Albuquerque, NM; daughters: Sarita Loehr and husband, Tom; Rose LaVail of Albuquerque, NM; eight grandchildren: Roxanne Padilla, Lukas Loehr, Kiley Loehr, Lauren LaVail, Marcus LaVail, Brianna Luna, Britney Parra, Destiny Parra; four great grandchildren: Johanna Padilla, Kayla Padilla, Kenneth Padilla, Meilani Luna; brother, Ruben Marquez of Rio Rancho, NM.
She was a Mariachi Singer with Los Hermanitos Marquez.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2020, 10:00 A.M., at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque.
